Kapha Balancing Broccoli Soup
Super easy to make and Kapha balancing.
Ingredients-
-🥦1 large head broccoli
-1 teaspoon of Ghee
-🧅1 small onion chopped
-🧄1 clove of garlic
-Pinch of asafoetida (Hing) - it avoids gas formation
-1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
-2 cups of water
-Salt to taste
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
-Few walnuts chopped (optional)
Directions-
-🥦Cut the broccoli head into florets. Peel and chop the stalk.
Heat the Ghee( you can also use oil) in a pot.
🧄Add pinch of asafoetida, garlic, onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add broccoli, stir for 1 minute.
💧🧂Add 2 cups of water, salt and black pepper powder, and bring to a boil. Simmer until the broccoli is almost soft.
🥣Puree the mixture with a hand blender or food processor.
🥦Reheat, add cinnamon powder and serve with some ghee, black pepper powder and some chopped walnuts for crunch.
